I read somewhere that the Yukon came in two
sizes big and bigger. I bout hollered!!!
It’s true! There’s no getting around it. The
2019 GMC Yukon – 4WD SLT is a lot of vehicle! It’s a full-size, three-row SUV
that seats eight. It’s BIG!
The Yukon I drove was decked out with an onyx
black exterior and a jet-black interior.
It was very quiet with a classy, trimmed cabin and a convenient and
easily accessible dash.
It has an impressive towing capacity and a standard V8 engine. It also has the capability to tow more than
8,000 pounds and go off-roading. And although it is
big, this family vehicle with boundless power still provides an awesome
ride.
At my height (5’10”) I
love being up high, having lots of headroom and legroom and having a comfortable
and large cabin. It’s rugged and doesn’t
have a lot of get-up-and-go, but it will get you from Point A to Point B.
Maneuvering this vast vehicle in tight spaces, though, can be brutal and
unforgiving.
I don’t necessarily
look cool in a minivan, but I do look good driving this SUV. I received lots of
envious looks while driving this SUV, which, I found has a split personality.
One minute it rides like a behemoth family vehicle, the next it handles like a
regular SUV.
