A REVIEW: Buick's 2017 Lacrosse Premium FWD

By Darlene Donloe

THE CAR: BUICK 2017 Lacrosse Premium FWD

Just because the 2017 Lacrosse Premium FWD has a great personality doesn’t mean it’s not attractive. It is. It not only looks good on the outside, it looks good on the inside. The panel is user friendly. The speakers are bumping. There is lots of legroom, which, for me, at 5’10”, makes it a winner and my new best friend. Whether you’re the snooty type with your nose up in the air, or the more grounded type, this car can go both ways. It’s elegant, but it’s also not afraid to get down and dirty. The car, which has a dramatic road presence, features a new grille design with a sizeable opening characterized by the return of a three-color (red, silver and blue) Buick tri-shield insignia, accented by wing-shaped elements set against darkened waterfall grille bars inspired by the 1954 Wildcat II concept. The model I drove had a white frost tricoat exterior and a LT neutral/dark brown accent interior. That, coupled with a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride, makes the 2017 Lacrosse Premium FWD a winner!

BUICK FACT: In the U.S. from July 2015-Jun 2016 - 6% of Buick sales came from African Americans. About 7% purchased LaCrosse.
